The story of Jesus and the adulterous woman is one of the most beloved stories in all the Bible. We love the way Jesus put the religious guys in their place, and the way he embraced the woman with compassion. If you were reading the story for the very first time it would be a surprising turn of events. The story does raise an important question for us, however. How is our compassion being tested, and do we pass the test?
